Billing and Usage

Overview

Skillsheet uses a subscription-based billing model powered by Stripe. Each subscription plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Credits are consumed as you use platform features like searching for candidates, enriching profiles, and sending outreach emails. This page explains how credits work, how to track your usage, and how to manage your billing.

Subscription Plans

Skillsheet offers tiered plans designed to scale with your recruiting needs:

  • Starter — For individual recruiters or small teams getting started. Includes a baseline credit allowance and core features.
  • Professional — For growing teams with higher sourcing volume. Includes more credits, priority support, and all integrations.
  • Enterprise — Custom plans for large organizations with dedicated account management, custom credit allocations, and SLA guarantees.

To compare plans and pricing, go to Settings > Billing > Plans.

Understanding Credits

Credits are the currency of Skillsheet’s usage-based features. Different actions consume different amounts of credits based on their computational cost and data value.

Credit Costs by Action

ActionCreditsDescription
Search1A standard candidate search query against the database.
Agentic Search5An AI-powered agentic search that autonomously finds and ranks candidates.
Contact Access2Revealing a candidate’s verified contact information (email, phone).
Enrich3Enriching a candidate profile with additional data from external sources.
Export2Exporting candidate data (individual or batch) to CSV or other formats.
Email1Sending an outreach email to a candidate through Skillsheet.

How Credits Are Deducted

Tip

  • Credits are deducted at the moment the action is performed.
  • If an action fails (e.g., a search returns an error), no credits are deducted.
  • Viewing cached results from a previous search does not consume additional credits.
  • Contact access credits are charged once per candidate. Viewing the same candidate’s contact information again is free.

Credit Refresh

Warning

Credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next period.
